Applications

Applications We deal with all types of applications including development of any kind or another and for works to protected trees. Planning permission is not always required for development - we can advise when circumstances require an application to be submitted and when Permitted Development rights may be exercised. Following an initial site appraisal and/or feasibility study where appropriate, we can prepare and submit an appropriate planning application. Preparation of an application may involve input from other professionals, such as landscape architects and engineers. We coordinate these different elements to ensure that a fully supported proposal forms the basis of the application. Progress of the application towards determination may involve discussions and negotiations with the local planning authority - we pursue these in close liaison with clients as a carefully negotiated planning permission can avoid the need for an unnecessary and possibly expensive appeal. We take the opportunity to address the Planning Committee where this is available. We deal with applications for works to protected trees for Lawful Development Certificates, consents for works under highways and drainage legislation and other similar approvals.
